Kudos

Durham Young Professionals presented its inaugural Bull’s Eye awards this past week. The awards recognized organizations that are committed to the development of young professionals, adapts work-life friendly policies, values generational differences and institutes attraction and retention initiatives for young talent.

The awards also recognized young professionals who are making a difference in the business community.

The 2010 winners were:

* Best Places for Young Professors to Work: iContact, McKinney, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Greeting Express, Bull City Forward

* Young Professional of the Year: Clay Harris of WorkSmart

* Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Jamie Patterson, Subject 2 Change

* Young Professional Mentor of the Year: Michelle Gonzales, SeeSaw Studio
